About

I am an independent educational consultant with experience evaluating college applications, teaching at the college and graduate school level, and advising high school students and their families in every step of the college admissions process. My expertise includes evaluating students’ strengths, matching students to best fit colleges, essay review and ensuring a dynamic application that will stand out from others. I am focused on an intentional approach to college admissions and able to provide comprehensive guidance or targeted support to help students on their journey to college admission success.

Prior to launching my educational consulting practice, I worked as an application reader in the Princeton University Admissions Office, where I read thousands of undergraduate applications. I also volunteered for nearly a decade with the Princeton University Alumni Schools Committee and chaired the committee that interviewed students in Essex (NJ) and Hudson (NJ) counties. In addition to practicing law in New York and Seattle, I taught legal writing at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law in Washington, D.C. and English Composition at the National University of Singapore.
I am an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and a Member of the New Jersey Association of College Admissions Consultants (NJACAC).
