NJSWC Community Event: I Run for Girls 5K Run/Walk

Opening Ceremony: 8:30 a.m.
5K Run/Walk Begins: 9:00 a.m.
Join the New Jersey State Women’s Chamber of Commerce as we support the I Run for Girls 5K Run/Walk, benefiting Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey.
NJSWC is proud to sponsor a team for this community event, and we invite our members, friends, and supporters to join us. Bertha Robinson, former President of NJSWC, will lead Team NJSWC.
Whether you prefer to run, walk, or simply enjoy being part of a worthwhile community event, this is an opportunity to come together while supporting programs that help girls develop leadership skills, explore STEM, experience the outdoors, serve their communities, and build confidence.
The event takes place at the scenic Orange Reservoir in West Orange and includes a 5K run and walk, live DJ, complimentary food and beverages, children’s crafts, and family-friendly activities.
Participants can choose either the timed 5K run or the non-competitive 5K walk.
Early-bird registration rates are available through September 5, 2026, so we encourage you to register early and join Team NJSWC.
Every registration supports Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey and its work to provide girls throughout our communities with opportunities to learn, lead and grow.
