After a lifetime of daydreaming about owning a business, shifting into this new reality wasn’t as easy as I imagined. Two years in, I am still learning but these key takeaways help keep me sane, motivated, and on track.

Jennifer Wylie is the owner of Floor Coverings International Metro NJ, a manufacturer-direct flooring installation company based in Fair Lawn and Clifton, NJ. Jennifer and her customer-focused team are proud to offer a high quality in-home flooring experience. Before opening the business with her husband in 2021, she spent 12 years recruiting in the fashion industry. Her last corporate role was as the Director of Talent Acquisition for Tapestry (the parent company of Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman). Jennifer loves to help others and does this through her active involvement in several local Chambers and the Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary.
