Learn the Power Your Vote Has in Our U.S. Democracy
and What’s at Risk if You Don’t Exercise Your Right Vote

Donna Ward, with the League of Women Voters (LWV) of the Montclair Area, and Melissa Marks, with the LWV of New Jersey, will discuss the importance of voting and the issues facing NJ voters in the upcoming November election. After this talk, participants will better understand:
  1. all the ballot choices this year
  2. the mechanics around how to vote, including new early voting opportunities
  3. key voting reforms the LWV is advocating to improve NJ voter access and engagement, e.g., fair districting and better ballot design
The LWV is a non-partisan, non-profit advocacy organization that has been fighting for voter access and voter rights for over 100 years.
